Join us every Monday night at 7:00PM for Monday Night Sober. We are men and women who meet to share our experience, strength and hope in Jesus Christ to fulfill His purpose in our lives, a life free from the bondage of active addiction.

The Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church Social Justice Ministry continues our church tradition of fighting for justice, equity, and action in our community. Join our monthly ministry meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm on Zoom to get involved in the important work that God has called us to do in these turbulent times.

The WABC Cancer Ministry serves our church members who are experiencing cancer & their families, caregivers, and cancer survivors. If you are interested to be a part of our support team, please contact us at [email protected] (https://wheelerbc.org/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection). Our Ministry meetings are virtually and in-person from 12:00pm to 1:30pm every forth Saturday of every month. We provide speakers, updated information from professional, and spiritually food for their journey through the word of God.

The Wheeler Avenue Tutoring Ministry will return virtually beginning October 7th on Tuesdays and Saturdays of this school year. Elementary school through college students are welcome to utilize tutoring services.
The Alzheimer's Support Group meets the 3rd Saturday of each month, excluding May and December from 10 am to 11:30 am. These meetings are for caregivers only.
The Journey on the Avenue is a place where Care Team volunteers provide a loving, welcoming and fun environment for care partners with mild to moderate memory loss who do not require skilled care. If you or someone you know is caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or related dementia, we know that it is sometimes difficult for the caregiver to do everyday things or have free time. If you could benefit from some time of recreation, consider The Journey on the Avenue, available on the second Thursday of every month from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
The Evangelism Ministry invites you to join the Avenue of HOPE - Where we carry HOPE to the Lost, Helpless, and Hopeless to Whosoever, Whenever, and Wherever. Please gather with us for our Meetings and Outreach on the 3rd & 5th Saturdays at 11:30am - 1:30pm in person or virtually. Help us carry the Light of HOPE and the Love of JESUS into the community and the world as Jesus commanded us in the Great Commission in Matthew 28: 18-20, to make disciples.

Join the Domestic Violence Ministry for a safe haven to share, heal, and find faith-based support. The Domestic Violence Support Group will meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm. Let’s embrace strength, break silence, and build a path towards restoration. You're not alone, come find solace in a community that cares. On the 1st TUESDAY of Each month in the calendar year the WABC Marriage Ministry provides a marriage enrichment session. We are presenting and discussing topics that are valuable to marriage development and enhancement. We look forward to having all married couples at WABC make a commitment to invest some time, on some Tuesday nights, on in this forum for your marriage.
