Crucial Conversations Series Presents: Hijacked Faith

Join us on Saturday, August 22 at 9:00 a.m. for the next installment of our Crucial Conversations series: “Hijacked Faith: Power, Politics, and the Church.”
We will begin with a screening of the powerful documentary Bad Faith, which examines the rise of White Christian Nationalism in America and its impact on the Church, public life, and national identity.

Following the film, we will engage in a timely and urgent panel discussion featuring faith leaders, scholars, and nationally acclaimed political strategists, including:
• Dr. Michael Emerson, author of Religion of Whiteness
• Dr. Frederick D. "Freddie" Haynes III, Civil Rights Activist and Sr. Pastor, Friendship West Baptist Church
• Bishop Leah D. Daughtry – Organizer-Activist, Political Strategist, Author, and Co-Founder of Black Church PAC
• Ashley Etienne – American Political Advisor, Former Communications Director to VP Kamala Harris, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and special assistant to Pres. Obama.
• Dr. Cleve Tinsley, IV – Principal, Imaginior Equity Group
