Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church (WABC) has always been a magnet for young adults who are single or married from 24 – 39 years old. The ministry is one of the most active, vibrant, and empowering aspects of WABC. Each of the components below comprise the core of the ministry and directly reinforce the vision and motto for young adults, “Committed to Christ, Community and Commission!” Standing Ministry Teams: Witnessing Workers - serving together as the hands of Jesus in the community. Ambassadors - engaging young adults through fun socials and meaningful connections to ministry and community. Building Believers - edifying the participants through Bible study and worship tailored for young adults. Communicators - creatively producing content to share great opportunities for spiritual growth and connection. Small Groups - growing with others in prayer and study through intimate community for men and women respectively. Successors - supporting young adults as mentors and building relationships to advance professional development.
