Planning Your Wedding
As you begin to plan your nuptials, please take the following steps:
Step 1: Submit Wedding Request
Begin by filling out a Wedding Request Form. Fill out and submit the information and you will then be contacted and asked to come in, meet, and fill out the appropriate paperwork to secure your space for your wedding.
Step 2: Submit Officiant Request
Select an officiant to preside over your ceremony. If you would like a Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church minister to serve as your officiant, please fill out a Wedding Officiant Request Form. After you have completed and submitted this form, the Events Coordinator will contact you, place you on the event calendar, and contact Pastor Cosby's admin if he is your requested officiant.
Important Requirements
The following requirements and planning resources apply to weddings on the Wheeler Avenue campus:
Membership: You must be a member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church.
Premarital Classes: You must attend 6 premarital classes with Rev. David Moore.
Counseling Session: You must attend 1 counseling session with Rev. Dr. Marcus D. Cosby, if he is the chosen officiant.
Wedding Council: If you plan to celebrate your wedding on the campus of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, the WABC Wedding Council can support your event. Use this link to learn more.
